Session 1:
College of Arts and Science: Science, Math, and Statistics:
Learn more about majors and minors in our natural science, math, and data science areas. This session will include an overview of the college, a faculty panel, and a question and answer session.
College of Arts and Science: Humanities and Social Science:
Join the College of Arts and Science to learn about our world-class programs in human behavior, society, politics, culture, and language. Our immersive, hands-on student experience and opportunities in research, internships, and study abroad/away will prepare you for a range of exciting careers. Engage with our faculty and students during our tours and break-out sessions.
College of Arts and Science: Department of Biology Tour: Learn about the College of Arts and Science as a whole, then take a faculty-lead tour of Pearson Hall research facilities and learn about the opportunities in the department.

Department of Art Tour:
All prospective majors in studio art, art education, graphic + experience design, art & architecture history, and fashion should join us for this facilities tour to see our classroom spaces and studios. Prospective majors should attend BOTH this session and the information session during session 2.
Theatre, Dance, and Entertainment Design Department Tour:
All prospective majors in theatre, dance, and entertainment design/technology should join us for this facilities tour to see our rehearsal and performance spaces. Prospective majors should attend BOTH this session and the information session during session 2.

Department of Architecture + Interior Design (ARC+ID) Tour:
All prospective majors in Architecture + Interior Design are invited to join us for an information session and department tour during the Optional Afternoon Sessions. Individual department tours will be offered to those that are unable to attend the larger session with students and faculty.
Department of Emerging Technology in Business + Design (ETBD) Information Session: Interested in digital marketing, content creation, website/app user experience and interface design (UX/UI), game design and development, immersive/reactive art/media, and beyond? Join ETBD faculty and students for an in-depth conversation about their interdisciplinary program and how to apply.

Social Work Information Session: Meet with faculty in the social work department to learn more about the social work major, including courses, experiential learning opportunities, career pathways, and our 4+1 graduate program for undergraduate social work majors.
Education Information Session: Adolescent and Young Adult (Grades 7 -12): Meet with faculty in the department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry to learn more about the education majors, adolescent and young adult education in the areas of Science, Social Studies, English, and Mathematics . Learn about field experience and student teaching opportunities, study abroad programs, and our 4+1 graduate programs.
Education Information Session: Elementary (Pre-K through 5th Grade): Meet with faculty in the department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry to learn more about the primary education majors. Learn about field experience and student teaching opportunities and study abroad programs.
Inclusive Education Information Session: Meet with faculty in the department of Educational Psychology to learn more about Miami's new Inclusive Education Programs. Students in the Inclusive Education program meet the requirements for Ohio licensure in the following areas Primary Education PK-5; Special Education Mild to Moderate Intervention K-12; Special Education Moderate to Intensive Intervention K-12; and a TESOL Endorsement.

Customize Your Creativity: Creative Arts Opportunities for All Majors:
Students at Miami University do not need to major in a creative arts discipline to engage with the College of Creative Arts. Non-majors can explore their artistic interests through a wide range of courses in art, music, theatre, architecture, and emerging technology, many of which are open to students from any academic background. Opportunities also include participation in ensembles, theatre productions, student organizations, exhibitions, and creative events across campus. Whether pursuing a personal passion or seeking to broaden their educational experience, students can find meaningful ways to incorporate creativity into their Miami journey.

Optional Afternoon Sessions:Tour of Earth and Environmental Science Labs and Classrooms in Shideler Hall: Join us to see our state-of-the-art laboratory and classroom facilities for Earth and environmental Science
Anthropology Lab Tour: Discover Miami University's Department of Anthropology through a guided tour of the anthropology and archaeology labs!
Premedical and Pre-health Studies Info Session: Join us and learn about premedical and pre-health advising, our co-major requirements, and preceptorship/shadowing opportunities.
Department of Architecture + Interior Design (ARC+ID) Tour: All prospective majors in Architecture + Interior Design are invited to join us for an information session and tour our studio, woodshop, library, and presentation spaces. Prospective majors should attend this session to experience our studio courses in action. Students & faculty will divide the visitors into smaller groups for more individualized tours throughout our creative spaces. Recommend arrival time at 12:15pm after lunch. Information session will start once everyone arrives around 12:15pm or just after.
Department of Music Class Visit: Students and their guests will have the opportunity to attend one of three music classes: Wind Ensemble, Vocal Pedagogy, or Theory of Music.
General College of Engineering and Computing Tour: Take a guided tour of the College of Engineering and Computing to explore our classrooms, teaching and research labs, makerspaces, and student collaboration areas while learning about the hands-on experiences available to CEC students.
Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health Labs Tours: Tour the Nutrition/Food Science and Functional Anatomy Teaching Laboratories in the Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health. Learn about the experiential learning and career opportunities from faculty and students in the Department.

The residence hall tour will be led by our Residence Life staff. Campus Resource Fair: Come to the resource fair to learn more about various departments across Miami that work to support our students. From Career Services to Education Abroad this is a great way to explore other ways Miami is dedicated to the undergraduate experience.
